Kubota issued a voluntary recall covering roughly 12,000 BX-series subcompact tractors after discovering that a brake line routed too close to the frame can wear through over time. In a worst case, the company says, the line could fail and reduce braking on one side of the machine.
Affected units were built across a span of model years and sold through the dealer network nationwide. Owners can look up their serial number on Kubota's recall page or call their selling dealer to confirm whether their tractor is included.
The fix involves re-routing and securing the line with an updated clamp kit, a job Kubota estimates at under an hour. The company stressed that no injuries or crashes have been tied to the defect and urged owners not to delay the free repair.

Got the letter yesterday. Dealer had me in and out same morning. Credit where it's due.
