Kioti's new diesel UTV undercuts the competition on price

A torquey three-cylinder diesel and a working-class price tag aim straight at the chore-vehicle crowd.

Kioti is leaning into the work side of the side-by-side market with a new diesel UTV built around a torquey three-cylinder engine and a bed rated for serious loads. The pitch is simple: skip the sport trims and the screens, and undercut the established players on price.

On the trail and around the yard, the diesel's low-end grunt is the headline. It pulls a loaded trailer up a grade without drama and sips fuel compared to the gas competition, which matters when the machine is a daily chore tool rather than a weekend toy.

Compromises show up in the ride and the cabin polish, where flashier rivals still lead. But for buyers who measure a UTV by what it can haul and how cheaply it runs, Kioti's value angle is hard to ignore.

Diesel torque in a UTV just makes sense for ranch work. Glad someone's chasing the value buyer.
